From One Retreat to a 20+ Year Wellness Legacy

In 2004 Shane Evans founded one Retreat in San Antonio, Texas. Her vision was simple: make professional wellness services welcoming and part of everyday life. The brand launched as Massage Heights and was built on family values and the belief that self-care should never feel exclusive or intimidating.

Since the beginning we’ve helped guests build consistent wellness habits through massage therapy and recovery services.

As a female founder in a rapidly evolving wellness industry, Shane saw a chance to create something different. She built a space where professionalism met warmth and wellness felt part of daily life. That vision resonated.

Over the past two decades Heights Wellness Retreat has grown across the United States and Canada. We started as a massage-focused concept and now offer a full range of wellness services. Our foundation hasn’t changed. We create places where people feel supported and empowered to prioritize their well-being.

Our story is about impact. We create meaningful career paths for Therapists and Skin Therapists and support the communities we serve. Every guest who walks through our doors has access to consistent wellness that supports long-term vitality.
